What is Pulse ID?
Pulse ID is the multi-factor authentication (MFA) app for Medlink Connect. When you sign in to
VMware Horizon, Pulse ID sends a prompt to your phone so you can approve or deny the sign-in with a
single tap, protected by Face ID or your device passcode.
Getting started
- Your IT team sends you an enrolment link or QR code.
- Open Pulse ID and tap ＋ Add account, then scan the QR code (or paste the enrolment code).
- Allow notifications when prompted — they're required so sign-in requests can reach you.
Approving a sign-in
When you sign in to Horizon, a notification appears on your phone. Tap it (or open Pulse ID),
confirm with Face ID, and choose Approve or Deny. Your sign-in completes only after you approve.
Not receiving notifications?
- Check Settings → Pulse ID → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed.
- Make sure your phone has an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
- Open the app once to refresh its connection, then try signing in again.
- Still stuck? Ask IT to re-send an enrolment link and re-add your account.
